Product Description

The dyeing process mainly includes adding pigments in the PC synthesis stage for bulk polymerization dyeing, or using masterbatch dyeing on the basis of PC granules. A masterbatch is a concentrate consisting of a pigment or dye, a carrier resin and some additives. In the process of processing, the masterbatch is mixed with PC raw materials, and the pigment is evenly dispersed in the PC matrix by high temperature and the shearing effect of the screw, so as to achieve the purpose of dyeing. In addition, there are methods such as dip dyeing, but this method is relatively less used for PC dyeing in industrial production, mainly because the chemical structure of PC is special and requires higher dyeing conditions.
